3-Class Series | Ages 12 & Up | No Experience Necessary
Guitars available to borrow – beginners welcome!
Ready to start your musical journey? This beginner-friendly 3-session workshop is the perfect place to learn the fundamentals of playing guitar in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you’ve never touched a guitar or just need a refresher, we’ll get you playing real music right away!
🎵 What You’ll Learn:
How to hold and tune the guitar
Basic open chords and simple strumming patterns
Playing your first songs
Tips for developing finger strength and rhythm
Intro to reading chord charts and tabs
Each 90-minute class builds on the last, with plenty of hands-on practice and encouragement.

Dates: Wednesdays - June 18, June 25, July 2
Time: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Location: Art & Music - 232 SW 5th St., Redmond, OR
Cost: $135 (includes loaner guitar if needed)

Casey Hurt is an experienced and patient instructor who loves helping new players feel confident and inspired. His goal is to make learning guitar fun, simple, and motivating.

Optional: your own guitar (we have a few to borrow!)

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your registration to another eligible workshop or participant at least 5 days before the first class. Transfer requests are subject to availability and approval.
Missed Classes:
We are unable to offer make-up sessions for missed classes in this series. Each session builds on the last, so we encourage full attendance to get the most from the workshop.
